I won’t lie, I used to think that I didn’t want to travel, and it wouldn’t be that interesting. Boy was I wrong! Through random happenstance back in 2009 I decided I wanted to visit Ireland for a week to snap a few photos for my landscape photography portfolio. From there, it turned out to be a 2 month round the world trip in 2010, just to see if I would be able to cope with travel, and if I would like it. Travel changed my life! If you are contemplating whether to travel or not, always go with the travel option, its well worth it.

I am an Aussie, proud and true. I travelled to a few places overseas with my parents when I was still a kid, but it wasn’t until I decided to go on my own trip (as mentioned above), that I truly fell in love with travel, and needed it to be part of my life. I was 26 when I went on my round the world trip, and I have been planning trips ever since. I’m a photographer, and love doing landscape photos, so my passion for travel and photographer go hand in hand. I originally started this blog to keep in touch with my family, and it has since turned into a very big passion for me.

For those wondering about the name of the blog. My middle name is Weston, and a shortened version of that name stuck late in school, when there were a few other people with the same name as me, and we had to differentiate between us all. My photography company name is also Weston Brown Photography.
