A very uneventful day today sorry. I woke up about 7, which was a fair effort after last night, and finished packing up the rest of my stuff before checking out of the hostel. Lugged all my bags down to the airport express train station and bought a ticket. It was only after I had got it that I realised I had bought one for a train leaving in 2 mins. I quickly moved all my stuff and got on in time.
Took about an hour to get to the airport, and I checked in. The girls at the checkin thought my trip was very cool for some reason haha. I got to hang around at the airport wasting time for about 2 1/2 hours, which is always loads of fun. I did find this lil icecream tubs that kept me amused though.
12 hour plane trip to Munich. I got the window seat, which is good cause I never really move on planes. Watched Toy Story 3, Avatar the Last Airbender, Zoolander, an episode of 30 Rock, an episode of Modern Life, Grown Ups and The Spy Next Door. Good TV viewing haha.
Arrived in Munich no problems, although when I was walking through customs I got asked a few questions. Caught the train into the main station and managed to find the hostel after not too much effort, which was a plus.
I checked in, had to get my bed sorted out cause it wasnt made. I then tried to meet up with Paul and Emma but it was going to be way too tricky with the train/tram system that I hadnt figured out yet. I had a few drinks at the hostel with a few random people and then decided to call it a night, as I was nearing being awake for 24 hours.

I’ve been to Munich airport! lol. Okay it was a lay over before flying on to Turkey – but I’ve been there lol.
P.s. The metro system shouldn’t be too hard – if you’re struggling let me know
MUNICH! Ooooh! The rail system there is pretty good. Although the main station can be a bit confusing.

Yeah its good, once you figure it out. I was looking for a tram stop for ages, then figured out the next day that it was outside the station on the other side.
And yeah went there yesterday, even went on the factory tour which is pretty hard to get on apparently
Aw, now I am sad that we didn’t do that cos I had no idea there was a factory tour!
Yeah I know. Neither. But Paul knew and even managed to get us on one which was quite an effort.
